Dating Simon Cowell is a dangerous business.

His ex-girlfriend Terri Seymour, 35, was attacked by a jealous fan who was seemingly unaware of the break-up after the "American Idol" finale Tuesday night.

After asking Seymour if she was Cowell's girlfriend, allegedly attempted to strangle her at the L.A. Live complex. Thibodeaux was arrested on suspicion of felony battery and released on $52,700 bail, reports the Daily Mail.

Seymour reportedly refused medical treatment, leaving with the escort of three police officers. She split from Cowell last summer but the couple only made the news public in November. They still remain close, speaking on the phone frequently and appearing in promotional activities together.

Dennis Rodman has been ordered by a judge to pay Sara Ure $225,000. Sara Ure had filed a lawsuit against Rodman for grabbing and humiliating her at work in March 2006. Rodman did not respond to the civil lawsuit so the judge ruled in his absence.

In 2006, Sara Ure was working as a beverage manager in the Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas. Ure alleged Rodman pulled her to dance with him. Ure accused Rodman of slapping her bum and humiliating her in front of her subordinates and patrons.
